When I bought the splat mat material I saw some cute giraffe fabric that I had to have…only I wasn’t quite sure what I would do with it. After the fabric sitting on my table for the past month I decided I would make Finley some clothing…what?!?!? I figured it wouldn’t be too difficult since hippies make their own clothes all the time so I started cutting and ironing and sewing…and this is what I got…
Not too bad right? I would say it took me a couple of hours total, but I really had no clue what I was doing. Next time I will actually measure her since this dress fits now, but won’t for much longer. I also would choose a stretchier fabric and maybe put in a zipper so it is a little easier to get on and off.
I also made Finbaby a giraffe stuffed animal, it is really cute and I promise to post a pic.
